Thomas and Laurie met each other while students at WKU involved in CRU. Upon graduation, they joined the staff of Cru and were placed at East Tennessee State University. In 1985 they came back to WKU as the Campus Director. Since that time, Thomas has completed his Masters in Missiology as well as a Doctorate of Education in Leadership. They have three grown kids: Sarah, who is married to Patrick, Hannah, and James. Thomas and Laurie have had the privilege of serving in the Philippines, Poland, Russia and Slovakia. Besides his responsibilities as the director at WKU, Thomas is also an adjunct professor at WKU and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Ben is a graduate of Marshall University and Jill is a Western grad!  Ben has been on staff for since 2000, and Jill joined up in the summer of 2004.  After spending several years serving at WKU, Ben and Jill took off to serve in the central European country of Slovakia for a year.  In the Fall of 2007 they returned to WKU to serve on the staff team here.    Since the fall of 2008, Ben has been serving as the director of student ministries at WKU and working toward his Masters in Biblical Counseling from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  They have been married since December 2004 and had their first child in October 2010, a son named Reece.

Jacob graduated from Western Kentucky in December 2009 with a major in Journalism and Religious Studies. He's been interning with Cru ever since and will go on full-time staff in January 2012. He's currently working on his Master's of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Aside from Cru responsibilities, Jacob also serves as a music pastor at Burton Memorial Baptist.

Sarah graduated from WKU in May 2006 with a degree in Religious Studies & Philosophy. Sarah married Patrick Edmundson in June 2006 after they both graduated from WKU. After graduation she worked as a manager at a physician's office until July 2010.  She joined our staff team as an intern in August 2010 but has volunteered on & off as a Bible study leader with CRU since 2003 when she was a student.
